Project ATTEND is committed to improving our student’s attendance, reducing behavioral issues, and improving their educational achievement and test scores.
Mission Statement
We are an educationally and culturally diverse, dedicated and empathic group of educators who seek to empower our students with the drive and desire to achieve excellence and advance their individual growth through a process which includes:
- Focuses on strength based Case Management
- Provides academic support through a tutoring component
- Increases student and community awareness of the importance of attendance
- Assists students and families with accessing available support services
- Encourages increasing parent involvement
- Promotes safe, healthy schools and families.
Program Goals:
- To decrease the number of academic days lost to absences for any reason
- To decrease the number of behavioral referrals resulting in suspensions and expulsions.
- To improve student achievement and test scores
- To provide community collaborative services to students and families.
- To increase parent involvement.
- To promote safe, healthy schools and families.
