We would like to welcome you to the Sheridan Early Childhood Center! Whether you are a family member looking for a placement for your child, a community volunteer looking for a place to give of your time, or just someone interested in Early Childhood programs, we are happy to welcome you to our website. The Sheridan School District has offered high-quality, comprehensive early education programs to its constituents since 1965. We are extremely proud of the services we provide to children and families and we would welcome a visit from you.

Our center provides a unique opportunity for young children – ages 3-5 - in the Sheridan area. We have three funding sources which provide services to children in this age group. However, while families qualify for preschool slots in several ways, the children and families receive identical services throughout the program. Children are placed in inclusive classrooms with a small number of children (15-17 children), with a teacher and a teacher assistant. All families also receive services from our Family Service Providers.

Our various funding sources have differing qualifications for entry into the program. We invite you to call us at 720-833-6600 to find out about those qualifications and to find out more about our program. We look forward to working with you.
